Over 3 weeks joining the “Leadership Skills Training Courses for Da Nang Children and Adolescents” from September 11 to October 3, 2021, 79 students aged 10 to 18 years old from many schools have acquired essential knowledge and skills such as presentation, teamwork, research, pressure and time control. In order to sum up the courses as well as create an opportunity for the children and adolescents to apply their acquired knowledge and skills on proposing solutions to develop a healthy and child-friendly city, the Healthy cities for Adolescents project (UNICEF Vietnam) has collaborated with the Da Nang Youth Union to host a debating contest. With the topic “Da Nang Adolescents participate in building a healthy and child-friendly city”, the organizers hope their ideas presented in the contest will be listened to and executed by the city government.
