Survey findings showed that, after participating in the program, lower secondary school students demonstrated clear improvements in their knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to balanced nutrition and the prevention of overweight and obesity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically, the proportion of students who correctly understood a balanced diet, recognized the negative impacts of fast food and sugar-sweetened beverages, and appreciated the importance of physical activity increased significantly. Participants agreed that, to ensure long-term effectiveness, it is essential to strengthen intersectoral collaboration between the health and education sectors, while also enhancing the engagement of communities and families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, standardizing teaching materials, strengthening the capacity of teachers and school health staff, and integrating nutrition content into the formal curriculum were identified as important next steps for implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Affirming the Role of School-Based Nutrition Education<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference reaffirmed that school-based nutrition education not only improves students\u2019 knowledge but also contributes to long-term behavior change.
