Schools are one of adolescents\u2019 most important psychosocial environments, offering mental health risk factors, protective factors and opportunities for mental health promotion and support. School-based mental health services are crucial to supporting adolescent student mental health and addressing school-related mental health risk factors. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) Viet Nam, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET), conducted a \u2018Comprehensive Study on School-related Factors Impacting Mental Health and Well-Being of Adolescent Boys and Girls in Viet Nam\u2019. The study addresses two primary questions:<\/span><\/p>

  1. What is the relation between school-related factors and mental health\/well-being issues of adolescent girls and boys?<\/span><\/li>
  2. What programme interventions targeting schools can improve adolescent mental health and well-being for boys and girls in Viet Nam?<\/span><\/li><\/ol>
