Register to creative programming competition YOUTH-ON! HACKATHON 2024

The most interesting playground for initiating technology solutions for Da Nang’s youth is officially back.

Youth-on! Hackathon is a programming competition for students aged 12 to 19 to encourage creativity and breakthrough thinking in the field of technology in the digital era 4.0. Following the success of the two seasons 2021 and 2023, Youth-On! Hackathon season 3 acts as a launching pad for young people to freely develop their capacities, passion for programming and initiate technology projects that have positive impact for the community. This year’s competition is part of the Healthy Cities for Adolescent (HCA) Project – Phase 2.

📌 Competition detail:

1. Theme: “Smart learning in the AI era”
   • Contestants develop technology solutions related to the theme (no language or product form/genre restrictions; freely create on any platform: web/app/IOT as long as it is suitable for the theme and shows the proposed ideas/solutions).
2. Target group
   • Youth aged 12 – 19 in Da Nang city.
3. Via the competition, you will:
   • Develop programming skills, gain knowledge and experience in creating innovative technology solutions to support the community
   • Meet and work with peers with the same passion
   • Get free guidance and training from top experts
   • Receive valuable prizes from the Organizing Committee
4. Tentative agenda
   • End of 17/7/2024: Registration
   • 21/7/2024: Kick-off and Training on Creative Programming Ideas
   • 28/7/2024: Training on Programming and Presentation
   • From 28/7 to 17/8/2024:
   • Mentoring Sessions
     19/8/2024: Semi-Final (Hackathon Day)
   • 25/8/2024: Final (Demo Day)
